Understanding product information.
Material descriptions, product instructions and certification documents each answer a different question.
Start with the name and label of the product you have. If you need information about a particular specification or document, our support team can help you identify what applies to that item.
Material and intended use
A material description explains what a product is made with. Use instructions explain the task, the steps and any precautions.
Neither should be read as a guarantee that a product is suitable for every surface, garment or household use.
Tests and certifications
A test result relates to the sample, method and conditions identified in its report. A certificate has its own product scope and validity.
A raw-material document does not automatically cover the finished product. Do not assume that one product's documentation applies to every item in the collection.
Ask about your product
For a documentation question, email support@phd-living.com with the product name, country and the specification or document you are asking about. Include a lot or batch number if one is available.
For disposal questions, also check your local collection rules. A product name alone does not establish acceptance by a particular service or facility.
